Julie Chen Moonves hosted the popular summer reality show Big Brother which returned to CBS for its 22nd season on August 5. Chen Moonves had been one of The Talk's original hosts. She was moderating and hosting the show since 2010 to the year 2018, when she was the host. The real love of her life was writing. In fact, she was awarded an Emmy. She also won an Emmy for her role as host of an exceptional entertainment talk show. Her background in news made her a natural for the switch into The Talk, which examines the latest news and current problems through the lens of five female hosts.Chen Moonves was co-host of CBS News' weekday morning broadcast The Early Show from 2002 to 2010. Her previous roles included anchoring CBS Morning News and The Early Show. Chen Moonves is a journalist who has worked with newsmakers including former New York City City Mayor Rudy Giuliani. Queen Rania and the former Defense Secretary William Cohen and Denzel Washington. Chen Moonves has also worked for CBS's New York City station WCBS, as a reporter, anchor, and anchor (1997-1999). Prior to joining CBS News at the beginning of 1995 Chen Moonves had been a reporter at WDTN TV Dayton. Prior to that, she worked as a reporter for ABC NewsOne, the network's associated news service (1992-1995) and a desk-assistant for the ABC News' Los Angeles Bureau (1990-1991), all while completing her final year of college from the University of Southern California.
